What is it that makes someone jealous, or what is the state of mind which produces this sickness…?? How can people think that jealousy and love have any relation to each other…?? What is true love, which most people do not really know, if not magical and absolutely free…??
It all comes back to love, doesn’t it…?? If you want to understand why people does anything in life, if you want to understand yourself, seek to deeply understand the root of love; not romantic or any other concept society gives us of love, but seek to understand the beautiful and perfect essence of love connecting everything and everybody. This careful study shall take you to the understanding of that false “love” people feels, namely ‘attachment.’ And this knowledge shall take you immediately to the understanding of fear itself.
Being jealous, for example, is a very dark and negative mindset, which it is away from pure love; thus, it concentrates on attachment, fear which agitates the mind and fogs higher conscience. The same goes for all envy and covetousness, which live in the desperate and truly unloving mind; for this mind is attached to the outward situations, thus away from the inward state where all love dwells… You do understand that true love really lives inwardly and not on the outside, right…??
When your attention falls on the world and you start basing your individual happiness on the person, on the family, on the material things, on the situations, then your mind becomes enslaved, your animal nature holds you captive, and your life falls under the rule of fear and your massive ego. And that is exactly why your attention is the most important thing to be self-aware, thus your attention drives the success or failure of your life, it drives the true joy or misery you feel.
So, remain with your attention into yourself, inwardly, because you cannot become jealous or envious of anything or anyone if your attention remains in self-love–which is true love.
“Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy – in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other” ~ Robert A. Heinlein; American novelist, short story writer, essayist, screenwriter, aeronautical engineer, and lieutenant junior grade USN.

Several years ago, after I arrived to Houston, Tx., from Argentina, my dear father passed away and left a hole in me; however, his death made me understand many things about life and about myself. And slowly through trial and error, challenges and suffering, this made me access this spiritual awakening which augmented my intellect and emotional intelligence vastly as never before I knew.
I soon started feeling more blissful every day without engaging in the outside pursuits which are popular by the blind world.
And here I am now, to connect with people like me; people who values the truth behind all things, people who cherishes true mental freedom, and people who seek higher human elevation through genuine mental science. Are you one of these people...??
